BlackBerry KEYone doesnt fare well in comprehensive durability test

Now that its finally become available to purchase, the BlackBerry KEYone has been acquired by the JerryRigEverything YouTube channel. You probably know what follows - thats right, the full durability test, comprising of scratching, burning, and bending the phone to see if (or when) it fails and in what ways.

The KEYone is off to a good start when subjected to the scratch test. Its screen withstands this as much as it should, while the textured material on the back is surprisingly resilient.

The device can take an open flame for around 16 seconds before the part of the screen thats burned will go black, but the good news is that if you take the flame away it will recover.

What didnt go so well for the KEYone was the be nd test, because its screen immediately popped out. Thats not surprising when you find out that theres absolutely no adhesive holding it in place. Upon the second bend, the display simply stopped working. You can see all of this for yourself in the full durability test video, which is embedded above.

! ( hope useful)
